Most of us already carry the virus that causes shingles. It lies dormant in the body, then can reactivate after 50—causing excruciating pain and serious complications.

Yet in Argentina, shingles was dismissed as little more than a rash. We needed an awareness campaign as disruptive as the disease itself.

So we behaved like the virus: unpredictable and invasive, hacking the country just like how shingles hacks the body.
